The full English name of GAS currency is Neo GAS, commonly known as "little ant egg". It is one of the original tokens of Neo network, with a total amount of 100 million. It is generated with the creation of new NEO blocks and distributed free to NEO shareholders. Currently 10,000 NeOs get about 3 GAS per day. It is also the fuel consumed by NEO transfers, which are currently completely free, but it takes 500GAS to deploy NEO smart contracts.
