At ALEX, we build DeFi primitives for developers looking to build an ecosystem on top of Bitcoin, backed by Stacks. Therefore, we focus on encrypted asset transactions and lending with Bitcoin as the settlement layer and Stacks as the smart contract layer. Central to this focus is the Automated Market Making (“AMM”) protocol, which allows users to trustlessly exchange one cryptoasset for another.
